Privacy policy

Draft, October 2026

Draft for attorney review. Not yet in effect.

Who we are

This website is operated by Great Adaptations Psychology, PLLC. Questions about this policy or your data: privacy@greatadaptationspsychology.com.

What we collect

If you join the waitlist: your name, email address, and the state you live in. If you answer the two optional questions after joining: your answer about the price and whether you want to be contacted first. If you later reserve a seat: whether a deposit was paid and, if you decline, the reason you choose. Payment details are handled by Stripe and never reach our servers.

We do not collect health information, symptoms, diagnoses, or anything about your medical history on this site, and the waitlist form has no place to enter it.

We also record how the site is used: an anonymous visitor identifier, which of two prices you were shown, the page you arrived from, and campaign tags in the link you clicked (utm parameters). We do not store your IP address; a one-way daily hash of it is kept briefly to limit automated signups.

Why we collect it

To tell you when the first cohort date is set, to understand whether there is enough interest to run the 8-week program and at what price, and to keep automated signups out of those numbers.

We do not sell or share your information with advertisers. Ad platforms receive no names, emails, states, or form data from us.

Cookies

We set two first-party cookies: one that keeps the site's content consistent across your visits, and one anonymous visitor identifier used to count visits once per day. Both last 90 days. A short-lived cookie after signup lets the thank-you page attach your answers to your waitlist entry.

We may use two ad measurement tags, the Meta pixel and the Google tag, to see how people find this site. Each loads only after you accept it in the cookie notice and sends a page-view signal only. We do not send them your name, email, state, or anything you type.

Emails

You will receive one confirmation email when you join and one follow-up email when the first cohort date is set, with a personal link to reserve a seat. Every email includes an unsubscribe link; unsubscribing removes you from the follow-up.

Retention and deletion

We delete waitlist data 12 months after this test ends, unless you have become a client of the practice, in which case your contact details move into the practice's records under its own notice of privacy practices.

To have your data deleted sooner, email privacy@greatadaptationspsychology.com from the address you signed up with.

Not a clinical relationship

Joining the waitlist does not create a therapist-patient relationship with Dr. Bushelle or Great Adaptations Psychology.

If you are in crisis, call 911. You can also call or text 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline), or text HOME to 741741. This site is not a crisis service.
